Per Simon, it as to be attended by 45-60 including Jo and Randy Maley. He says he as done 18 of the 25 events there. On Wed, Sept. 10, 2008 Mardi posted on the message board : "I just returned stateside yesterday after almost 6 weeks in England...of course the first week was at Simon's rendezvous and a great time was had by all...it may have been small in numbers, but it was huge in its heart...everyone made us welcome and made sure we had all we needed to participate... I went on my first archery woods walk, and while I was nowhere near the top, I wasn't last either... and the fact that I won some arrows in a blanket shoot (where Simon supplied all the prizes in honor of the 25th and his last rendezvous) has helped spark my interest in the longbow...Randy, Joe and I now have faces to put with the names of all the wonderful stories Simon has told over the years... at the Eastern, be sure to ask Simon about the incredible "treasure chest" he was given....Mardi
